Replacing Rollers Under Glass Sliding Door

Posted 711 days ago

I just replaced both rollers under a glass sliding door and found the new roller brackets had a hole where the hold down screw should go but had no screw thread in it.
We looked at some from another warehouse but these were the same.
So I drilled out this hole and used a larger screw with a square headed nut inside the bracket to hold in the new roller.
So can anyone tell me how or what should be used to hold in these roller brackets when the hole has no thread inside.
Regards
Ray
