Help for Blind Handy People

Posted 189 days ago

There articles for people using screen readers on how to do things around the home when you are blind.
This group helps answer questions and helps you achieve jobs you did not think possible by assisting you when you need the next step just to finish it off.
So I have included the link below so you can check these subjects out.

Finally, I can answer your question Hutcho!! It's usually you answering mine.

A screen reader is a software application that attempts to identify and interpret what is being displayed on the screen. This interpretation is then re-presented to the user with text-to-speech, sound icons, or a Braille output device. Screen readers are a form of assistive technology (AT) potentially useful to people who are blind, visually impaired, illiterate or learning disabled, often in combination with other AT, such as screen magnifiers.

Thanks for that, ducky. You learn something new every day. Sounds like a really great use of the technology.
