Scaly foot on chooks Posted 418 days ago How do you get rid of scaly foot on chooks? A previous article about silkie bantams said to use worm medicine, which one and how much and how often? I have different types of chooks and the bantams seem to get the scaly foot whereas the other types do not. Any advice would be appreciated. |

RE: Scaly foot on chooks Posted 418 days ago Firstly I think you'll need to thoroughly clean or replace all roosts and clean the nesting areas, rake out the coop and perhaps spray as well. The life cycle of the mite must be stopped. |

RE: Scaly foot on chooks Posted 305 days ago Thanks leonnie, thats what I figured but didnt want to look stupid with a wrong guess...lol I have a bantam hen whos legs look scaly, none of the rest do. I dopted her about a year ago. Figured it was because of her age (not sure how old she is). |
