Sad Budgerigar Posted 257 days ago My male budge got out and mum seems to be pining for him. Do you think she will get over him and pair up with the only other male budgie in the aviary that is obsessed with a female cockateil. The cockateil seems to like him too. Can't imagine a mix between a bugie and a cockateil but I am guessing that will never happen! |

RE: Sad Budgerigar Posted 247 days ago As a breeder of budgies, I have had few escape. I suggest you remove the cockateil, she will then possible mate with the male. Budgies will pair up even if they lose their mate. Good luck |

RE: Sad Budgerigar Posted 247 days ago The baby budgie is out of its box now and mum is laying more eggs. It's a female and the older male budgie seems to like this one better than the cockateil so heres hoping. |
