Budgerigar

Posted 282 days ago

I have a budgie that has just hatched. The mother is the proverbial green one and dad is grey. The baby is 10 days old and is getting feathers now. They seem to be yellow on his wings but white fluff elsewhere. The perculiar thing is it has red eyes. Doesn't that happen only with albinos?

I would assume that is the case. You might just have an albino there.

Even the hard, dull, dry ground harbours life - which is brought to the surface with the fresh touch of drenching rain (or the humble watering can).
