Natural "Bob".

Posted 139 days ago

Saw an add the other day for a fox terrier pup with a natural "bob", tail.I have a foxy with a docked tail(15yr) but I have never come accross a naturally bobbed tail in the breed. Can any one tell me if this is so?

Hi Kasphr,
I have seen this in Mini Foxie breeds, so I suppose it is possible in the standard? It is sometimes referred to as 'stumpy tail' too.
Because it is genetic, the length of the tail varies - some lines have 'no' tail (so small there is less than an inch), whilst other lines have a short tail instead.
I hope that this helps!
