naughty dog

just wondering what i can do about my dog. he's 12 yrs old, and for the past 4 months we've been looking after another dog, he's a big bull mastiff, but he's a sweet dog. however my dog is just contasntly stressed out. I go out in the morning and give my dog some treats and he goes crazy and barks, when i feed him his dinner he does the same, even if i just go outside to pat him he goes crazy. if we're outside he's contasntly winging and crying and barking. even if i dont give the other dog any attention. he jumps on the tables and eats out of the other dogs bowl. When the bull mastiff is not there, my dog is the total opposite, perfectly calm and happy. What can i do?
