aloe vera

Posted 793 days ago

I just read that aloe vera is toxic to dogs. Is this true as I often used the jell on wounds and/or hot spots, or is it only if they eat the actual plant? It is the best stuff for burns and itchy bits for humans but is it so for dogs as well.

I have used the gel inside the leaf quite successfully for years with no adverse effects, on all sorts of dog problems
As a matter of fact an old timer once told me it cures everything but a broken heart
