Spam after putting ad on Pet Directory

Posted 228 days ago

Can anybody tell me how to cancel a post for a lost cockateil. There is nothing on the site to do this and I have had nothing but spam since I put it there, even weird emails from people to say they have found my cokateil and for me to send me my details. It's The Pet Directory. Somebody please help before I go mad!!!!! Thanks

Did they find your cockateil?
Try simply blocking that website from your emails, no problem!

If you advertised your email then I'm afraid there's not much you can do. There are laws against companies and individuals repeatedly sending you unsolicited emails but a bunch of random people each sending you an email can't really be fixed. You can block each person individually using your junk filter but that's after you get the first email. Another suggestion would be to place a new ad saying your cockatiel has been found and for people to stop contacting you.
