raising orphaned budgie Posted 275 days ago Hi there, I am trying to rear a baby budgie thats only three days old. Trying to feed with bent spoon but it seems so weak after a couple of seconds. Does anybody know where I can buy a crop needle, tried googling and everything but need it to be in Melbourne. Thanks |

RE: raising orphaned budgie Posted 275 days ago I used an eyedropper to feed my baby budgies, I had no problems with this. I started the babies off with soymilk until I found out what the vets recommended to feed them - egg biscuits crushed in water (though I still used the soy milk to soak the biscuits in). I reared 2 baby budgies and one of them is now 8 years old. |

RE: raising orphaned budgie Posted 273 days ago Small syringes are the go too, my neighbours used to chew up seed and hand feed it this when they had a baby budgie that was failing to thrive. |
