dog fleas

Posted 303 days ago

Just wanted to let you know I have had exactly the same problem with Frontline. I rang and finally had a return call only to be told I must have fleas in the house or yard. I have no carpets so there are no fleas, had the yard checked ,same thing. The end of the conversation was when I was told to purchase another product to supplement the Frontline. After paying almost sixty dollars for a product I want it to work. My dog is only six months old and I was reluctant to put all three doses on him but it still did not work.

We also have had the same problem with Frontline. My poor Jack Russell ended up with weird oily skin as well as his flea dermatitis - as the fleas just didn't go away.I thought that because we live on acerage that the fleas here were somewhat more resistant?? An expensive lesson anyway. I might try Advantix next time, has anyone used this with success?

I have 3 dogs, i actually put some minced garlic in there dinner about a teaspoon for a dog the size of a cattle dog, it might take a week or 2 to work but i have never had a problem with flea's
You have to make sure you do it every night though worth a try and a jar of minced garlic is about $1 or 2 dollars and it should last you a couple of months
