Hi there,
We had that problem, but they usually change when they get older. My dad said to put him in a box so he cannot extend his neck, you can try this for a couple of nights, but not too small a box just so he cannot extend his neck.
I have always thought they crow when they see a light, maybe that is a problem as well.

Do you have other roosters in your area? I've always thought they crow to communicate with other roosters. If this is true it's going to be hard to stop yours from crowing.

I had one that did that whenever our outside light was on. He only did it when he saw a light.

the best proven way to stop a rooster from crowing
is to put one roost close to the roof of of there
coup so he cannot streach his neck roosters aways
go for the highest roost in the coup good luck
