Dog going to toilet on carpet

Posted 547 days ago

My five year old foxy cross was house trained as a puppy. When I shifted house she started to pee and poo on the carpet. How can I stop this?

train it to go into the yard. it's not a puppy anymore so it can live outside as long as it has food water and shelter. each time it goes to the toliet outside you should give it a treat.

i managed to train my dog to only go to the toilet in a 4mx15m of land purely the fact was our land being over 1000sq is too hard to find a dogs poo. at first we walked the dog around the yard in the spot we wanted in the mornings till she wanted to go to the toilet and gave her a treat. now it just comes naturally for the dog to go there. it takes a while though and a lot of patience.

also if you walk your dog early mornings they tend to go to pee at almost all the poles and the occasional poo. means less chance of them doing it at home ;P
