Posts: 2 Location: Beechworth Registered: April 2008	HEDGE PLANTS Posted 281 days ago I have approximately 30 Hedge Plants (Lumina Apiculata)which are up to 3 years old. I have to renew about 20% each year as they simply die off despite regular watering. Recently I have taken to examining the deceased plants and surrounding soil and have noticed some witchetty grubs in the soil and root structure of the deceased plants. So I am wondering if it could be the witchetty grubs eating the roots of the Lumina Apiculata, or just the recent severe heat?	0 0 Alert moderator

Hope that's the one you are speaking of. If you are refering to curl grubs as witchety grubs then they can certainly eat the roots of plants.	0 0 Alert moderator
