Spanish Moss

Posted 253 days ago

Every bit of info online and printed indicates spanish moss is not a parasite yet, all trees that have spanish moss either appear to be dying or have died.

what's up?

We have a few trees in our backyard that have spanish moss on them. How can we get rid of it?

If we are talking about the same spanish moss then it is not a parasite. I don't underatand how it could be the cause of trees dying. To get rid of it or pull it off. If it's too high to reach then it needs to be starved of water to kill it.

Mind you, I'm not sure how you do that in a humid climate because it will survive just on the air.
