lime tree

Posted 850 days ago

I've had a lime tree for about 4 years. Each year it flowers and small green balls appear when flowers drop off but each year that's as far as it goes, I've had no fruit at all.

What am I doing wrong?

Try applying a trace-element solution as per label. Also seaweed soln. in case it's struggling a bit underneath. If you're anywhere around coastal Oz, it's not uncommon that trace elements have been leached out. It sounds like the tree is otherwise O.K., since it gets to the pollenated stage then goes on strike. A deep watering around the drip-line once a week could also help if you're not already doing that.
