Sick Washington Naval Tree

Posted 290 days ago

I have a slight problem with my Wahington Naval Orange Tree. It is Growing in a pot with plenty of sun on my Balcony.
This is its third year, it has produced heaps of flowers but only 2 fruit each year.
This year, come spring it produced heaps of leaves and flowers, then one night I came home from work and 99.9% of the leave and flowers had dropped off. Now only one branch is green with a couple of leaves that don't seem to healthy and no flowers.

I am not the worlds greatest gardener, so I think I need some help. Please..
thanks Ed

A couple of suggestions. the pot might get too hot and be cooking the roots, and/or it needs a dose of trace- element solution. But it sounds pretty bad, so I'd think about replacing the soil, and don't forget the Seasol! If you go that way, use the best quality mix, and no feeding for at least two months. Good luck.
