Fig Trees

Posted 299 days ago

I have planted three bare rooted fig trees, as well as several olives and citrus. All are growing extremly well, except the figs, they have not moved a bit. Are they slower to bud up?

I also planted 3 bare rooted fig trees as well. a leaf has come on each one but nothing much. Really it uses it's energy for it's root system. It has to build it up in order to support the tree.

As long as you see some sort of green on the tree it is alive.

The leaves are just starting to show, depending on sunshine,
they love full sun. Fruit will start mid to late summer. Watch the birds and possums (you may need to cover your fruit)
