unknown plant

Posted 837 days ago

Recently in Tully I came across a plant, deep maroon/purple in colour with leaves that were the shape of a butterfly. These shapes were spaced on the small branch. A delicate plant.

Help with the type of plant would be appreciated.

Thank you

Leaves shaped like a butterfly brings Bauhinia to mind. Try looking up Bauhinia in Google images and see what comes up.
