Plants named after important people

Posted 669 days ago

I am searching for a list of plants that have significant meaning, more so plants that have been named after people who have contributed to society, but preferably only Australian Native plants. Does anyone have a list of such plants or know of a website that would list these plants.

All posts are greatly appreciated. Cheers

I don't personally know any specific sites, but maybe The Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney, the Sydney Museum, The Mitchell Library, also in Sydney might be good starting points for you.
