Dissolve lots of salt , and lay the solution across doorways etc. They most definately will not cross that. It will instantly dehydrate them to death, and they know it. Talcum powder will do the same thing. Cockroaches drink via their underbelly skin, but in their case, it works both ways. Hope this helps.

Get a Jack Russell. They're excellent at killing mice too. Otherwise there's some cockroach baits that you can place around the home that they eat and then poison themselves with. A more drastic way to kill them is with a cockroach bomb but I think you actually have to leave the house for a few hours to let the chemicals clear out afterwards?

i spray the house with mortein outdoor. 2l keeps them away for 3months so peace an mind.

it works quite well
