wheat heat pack

Posted 689 days ago

Hi I was wondering when you buy wheat sold from produce stores do I have to do anything with the wheat before adding it into a pillow/bag that I made myself. Also if not this wheat then where do I buy the proper wheat to make heat packs. Thanks for helping me

Ensure you buy wheat for feed not SEED wheat as this is chemically treated. After some use, the wheat gets dehydrated and won't hold heat unless it is slightly moistened with a LIGHT spritzing of water. I have also stored a bag in the freezer for use as an ice pack, very flexible.
