Slumbergera (Zygocactus)

I live in Perth, W.A. & am having trouble with some of my Slumbergeras in hanging baskets. The leaves have turned a dull red/pink & are not at all complimetary to the flowers. The baskets are under light shadecloth & are potted in good potting mix which drains well. I was wondering if maybe they were getting TOO much sun? Wonder if anyone else has this same problem & what the answer to it may be.
