What plant is this Posted 315 days ago A friend moved & gave me all her plants - most of which were obscure herbs. I am slowly making gardens to plant them & today cut open a 45 litre bag containing what I thought to be arrowroot. Not so. The leaves are similar to a heliconia (as are about ten of the plants she gave me - all being different) but in the soil were tubers (am I able to put in a pic?) They are long & thin. I now have all these plants bare rooted but have no idea what they are & cannot contact the friend to find out. Is anyone in to different plants. Please help. |

RE: What plant is this Posted 313 days ago Is it possible that they are ginger? As you seem to have been given herbs etc maybe it could be Galangal which grows a lot like ginger. I've forgotten where Millstream is but both ginger and galangal are pretty tropical plants AFAIK. |
