What I need to know if from anyone who has one of these types of composters are they more efficient than the tumble type composter. When you turn your compost in a tumbler, you are achieving the aeration much the same way as the air is venting inside the aerobin. If you turn your tumbler once a day, in my opinion is a simpler, cheaper and better alternative than these new gimmicky type designs. Gardening was meant to be simple. Get a tumbler or a regular bin if you want to call yourself a gardener. Get an Aerobin if you're not into garden interaction and you want to unload your heavy wallet.
