ground cover

Posted 108 days ago

We are putting in a new garden, due to the drought no grass. I want to put pavers down and grow a pretty ground cover to grow between the pavers the area is shaded in the afternoon, does get a few hours sun in the morning.
Is there anybody who could give me some advise on what to grow. we live in Melbourne and get sea breeze.
thankyou

I think Mondo grass (Ophiopogon japonicus) might be a goer for you. It has been proven a good grower in between pavers. It frost tolerant and drought hardy.

There are a few different varieties. A dwarf one, a varigated one and a black one. Any of them would look great.
