Posted 534 days ago

I am being over run with bullants in our lawn and garden. Our dogs keep getting bitten when they walk on the lawn and we can't attend to the gardens as within seconds you are covered in ants. Walking on the lawn your shes get covered in ants. How do you erradicate them without being harmful to dogs and birds.

You could try spreading Borax around their entry-holes. They track it down into the nest, and it will then kill them off.I have clear memories of sitting on a bull-ant nest when I was about 4yrs old. They hurt!

We had a massive bullant nest at our place when we fist looked at building.

I just put down ant sand ( poison ) and it shut down the whole lot,.....mind you, I'ld be keeping your dog away from it, just to be on the safe side.
