Oriental Lillies and Asiatic Lillies

Posted 722 days ago

Does anyone know whether Oriental and Asiatic Lillies like to be lifted and stored in a cool place till next planting like Tulips ect?Or can they just be put in tubs and left to naturalise when can they be moved, as they don,t seem to die down like other bulbs and I don,t want to hurt them as they,ve flowered beautiful this year.

Howdy Maggi, as far as i know they would prefer to be left in the soil. they don't really want to be as cold as some of the other bulbs. Don't pay them too much attention when they're dormant. If they're looking a little less vigorous after a few years you can separate and spread them.
