kiwi fruit

can anyone tell me if they have successfully grown kiwi fruit in central Victoria.Are the summers to hot and/ or the winters not cold enough to ripen the fruit.

I don't think you should have a problem there but you do need two for them to fruit.

Thanks for the encouragement Mausey. I believe you can buy a male & female grafted kiwi fruit and they take approx 4 years to bare fruit. This may be of interest to others who maybe interested in trying to grow a plant.Cheers Gus
