ladybirds,good and bad? Posted 311 days ago just a quicky,on my potatoes i am getting heaps of ladybirds.They are light orange in colour with about 8-10 black spots on them.Someone told me once that these are pests and not the good ladybird we all know and love.Is this right or wrong,because i,ve already culled a few. |

RE: ladybirds,good and bad? Posted 311 days ago I think it's the 28 spotted ladybird that they are referring to. If you use Google images and type in 28 spotted ladybird you will be able to check if yours is a goodie or a badie. |

RE: ladybirds,good and bad? Posted 263 days ago If there is eight spots altogher on both sides you got the spotted amber ladybird. They eat aphids! If not you got the 28-spotted potato ladybird (baddie). |
