How do you grow blueberries?

Posted 294 days ago

I brought some blueberries and planted the seeds in peat moss, following directions I found on other websites. Thats as far as I got.
my problem is that the type of blueberry I got apparently grows as far south as Florida (so it should be able to survive Brisbane's climate), but all the info I can find on growing them is for blueberries that grow further north (in America) and require annual frosts.
The seeds I planted have already sprouted.

Apparently you need two types of blueberry plants in one pot for pollination.. I dont know the reasoning behind that but its what my mum told me (her blueberry trees in pots) are doing just fine and producing good fruit, one variety is a lot lighter green than the other.
