late passionfruit

Posted 664 days ago

Can anyone tell me why my passionfruit is flowering now in late April? The same happened last year and managed to produce a nice late crop due to a long summer. However this year the weather is much cooler. It is north facing on a brick wall and gets plenty of water and was last fed at end of winter any ideas?

Hi Bev, I am afraid I don't know the answer to that as my vines are doing the same and I am on the mid north coast of NSW, but one thing I have noticed this year is that there are bees around, not a lot but bees just the same. Maybe they are just late doing their job.
