Passionfruit

Posted 770 days ago

My vine is loaded but the fruit are extremely sour and this has not happened before. The vine is only two seasons old.How can i fix the problem? Would potash help? I read somewhere that this helps to sweeten the fruit.

Mine is exactly the same Jiminy. I read that oranges can be sour if they don't receive enough sun. So maybe passionfruit are similar. I think it's because the vine is so thick now that the sun can't penetrate. Did yours take longer to achieve the ripe colour than usual?
