pinkabelle apple

Posted 774 days ago

I would like some advice about the 'pinkabelle' apple. My husband and I purchased 2 approx 12 months and 6 months ago, they were both doing really well with both having fruit produced. About a week ago, one of the trees started to wilt and now looks like it will die (small fruit is shrivelling up). At the graft join there are some leaves which are growing well.......is this the root stock ? Does anyone have any comments about what may have happened, any diseases which it may have succumbed to ? and what we need to do to ensure survival of the other tree, which is doing very well so far. Thankyou in advance of your comments
