Pollinating tomatoes? Posted 818 days ago Has anybody heard that ficking or shaking the fully open flowers helps pollinate them when bees are scarce? Does this work? |

RE: Pollinating tomatoes? Posted 817 days ago I haven't heard of it being used for toms., but it definately works with corn, but their pollen is airborne as well as insect transferred in any case. There are precious few bees around here this year, (again), but my toms are getting pollinated by something. It's an interesting question. |
