Dutch Cream Potatoes Posted 782 days ago When I Tassie recently, we tried Dutch Creams - they were great. I planted some this year and have just dug them up for the Christmas Fare - as well as beetroot, carrots, onions. Oh yes, Blue Lake and Purple King beans. |

RE: Dutch Cream Potatoes Posted 778 days ago Hi BobbieJ. We also found the best bar none spud on a Tassie trip a few years back. Seed spuds are available in Syd., but you have to hunt them down. Google dutch cream potato to find Tassie suppliers. Very reasonable price. Once you taste those things, everything else is an also-ran. Occasionally they appear in Syd. supermarkets, but they sell out super-quick. They're addictive. Mmm, Dutch Creams.... |

RE: Dutch Cream Potatoes Posted 759 days ago I bought some Dutch Creams off Ebay (asked a potato seller and she hunted them down for me), and they grew fantastically in SA. I've been using them for mash mostly so far, but they roast up remarkably well, I haven't tried the with chips yet, but I think they'd work well. |
