Shellyjay, email
magazine@burkesbackyard.com.au
with your photo, and someone there might be able to help you. Put the title "What tree is that" on your email, as there is a section in the magazine called that.

Hi Ozmac
I might use that email address myself. I have a few plants coming up naturally on my property and I don't know what they are called. The plants are more like small shrubs. There's also a purple flowered plant with grey green foliage and stems I'd love to know the name of. Could I use it for small shrubs and flowering plants?

Even the hard, dull, dry ground harbours life - which is brought to the surface with the fresh touch of drenching rain (or the humble watering can).

Yep, anything is fair game. Remember, though, that crappy photos and poor descriptions make it hard even for the experts, so don't feel shy about describing where you are, when it flowers, how big or small it is, any other details. The more info you give the experts, the more likely they can help you. And with nice photos you might even make it into the mag...
