My Tomatoes have been attacked by fruit flies..... HELP!!

Last year, i was growing some tomatoes and cherry tomatoes next to each other. the cherries were fine, but the bigger variety was completey attacked and i did ot get [/BOLD][UNDERLINE]1 single edible tomato[/UNDERLINE]i have been told that if you plant marigold near them, this will deter them, but does any one know any other plants that will deter them? or even any other[/BOLD][UNDERLINE]organic[/UNDERLINE]ways to deter them?[UNDERLINE]HELP!!!!![/UNDERLINE]

for the past two seasons ihave been using a product called wild may fruitfly attractant this only attracts the males but icaught thousands of the little buggers this breaks their breeding cycle and stops them building up numbers this year i hav combined the wild may with eco naturalure imix this and paint it on to the trunk of my citrus it seems to be working as the traps are only catching a few flys this only attract fruit fly so bees and the other dogooders are safe i got these products from green harvest
