my celery seeds itself and pop up all over the place usually where there has been a bit of regular moisture. Iv'e dug out my Yates guide and it advisessowingin seed trays and lightly cover with seed rising mix and keep moist takes about 3 weeks to germinate. If you are in a warm climate late summer and autumn is the best seasons and Spring for cooler climates. Best of luck.
