lemon tree Posted 762 days ago our lemons do not ripen on the tree. The tree branches have some sort of swelling in areas on the branch and some of the leaves are yellow. Any suggestions as to how to get the lemons to ripen and is the tree sick ? |

RE: lemon tree Posted 761 days ago sounds like your tree needs iron chelate for the yellowing leaves, ask at your produce store for the yellow powder and water it in around the drip area. As for the swelling I would say they were gall wasp lumps and you must cut them off and bin them. hope this helps. |

RE: lemon tree Posted 719 days ago Gall wasp must be cut off, but I was told its best to put cuttings in a tied plastic bag and leave in the sun, to kill the bugs. This will help stop the spread of these insects? |
