how do grow parsnips and were would you get the seeds

Bunnings would have the seeds. Grow them the same as carrots.

Parsnip seeds germinate better when very fresh so when you grow your first lot let one go to seed.Ants will carry away the seeds so check for them before planting . Good luck with them . They taste so much better than shop parsnips.

Yes, grew parsnips for first time last year. Wow, the taste difference was amazing. Mash with a little butter, salt and pepper. Not that mushy stuff the restaurants serve up :) Was great. Easy to grow.

I just got the seeds from shop outlet. Don't keep the packet for the second year - they didn't grow. New packet every year. But now I will let one go to seed, thanks Raddie.
