Broccoli,Brussels spouts and cauliflower

first off do you need to treat a broccoli plant when it starts to head differently and can you spray when theres a head in it
secondly how long do Brussels sprouts take to grow and how to get them to grow well and also where the Brussels sprouts grow from. thirdly cauliflower how long does it usually take to start to grow a head in it and whats quicker broccoli or cauliflower to start to head im a learner and its only my first time growing these plants

What are you spraying for? Green caterpillars? You can put derris dust on them.

This family of plants needs lots of fertilizer. Lots of dynamic lifter, seasol, or animal manure. Liquid fertilizer is great.

I think that broccoli and cauliflower start to head about the same time. 60 to 90 days - just taking a guess.

My broccoli heads are being eaten at night by an unknown critter,we live on the banks of the Nambucca River.We do have a resident bandicoot but i'm not sure if they eat greenery,maybe its water rats,they dont eat the main head but after that is picked they devour the small florets,does anyone know how to stop them.
