where are the zucchinis

Posted 615 days ago

Hi I hope someone can help as I have 4 nice healthy zucchini plants that heve plenty of flowers but no fruit. There doesn't seem to be the bees around like there used to be, is this the problem? Or should plants have male and female flowers. Very frustrating. thanks for your thoughts and happy gardening to all.

You can pick off the male flowers and poke the stamen into the female. Just rub it on a bit. That used to work. Haven't had much luck with zucchinis lately tho :) Used to have them everywhere.

Of all the wonderful surprises in life, none is better than seeing that first shoot tear out of the earth and form into a wonderful plant and vegetable.. .
