passionfruit problem Posted 729 days ago I have a grafted nellie kellie passionfruit that has developed spots all on the leaves then they are falling off we have had a lot of rain here and wondered if that was the cause or a fungus can you advise me what to do with it to save it please |

RE: passionfruit problem Posted 728 days ago Take a sample to where you bought it from. They should be able to identify the problem. It could be any of a number of things that all require different treatments. Check soil pH too. Ideally should be slightly acidic. A bit vague, sorry, but I think that's your best bet. RE: passionfruit problem Posted 708 days ago I had the same problem with grafted nellie kellie passionfruit last year. I wrote to this forum and a fellow answered in quite large detail. He basiclaly said that the grafted nellie kellie passionfruit aren't any good and you should only plant the vines that aren't grafted. I pulled my grafted ones out and put in three non grafted ones and the vines are really healthy, disease free and although no fruit as yet, they are only young vines and I am expecting next year to have a glut of fruit. He also said to only put the Thrive in the blue packet on passionfruit. Good luck, I hope this has helped you like it did me. |
