Posted 76 days ago

Hey guys,
Just wondering if some one is able to tell me some info about growing garlic.
We have planted some sprouting cloves which are shooting nicely but we are unsure if they will produce more garlic and if so how do u no when they have???

Thanks guys...

Garlic is easy plant the individual cloves around autumn and they form a clump of cloves in about 6 months. Let the plants mature and start to die down than you dig them up and hang them to dry.

You will need to feed them with a high nitrogen/potash fertilizer once a fortnight just to make sure that they do actually form up good clusters of cloves.
When the tops start to turn yellow in early summer, harvest them and hang up to dry in a well ventilated place.
