Crop rotation

Im starting my vegie patch and am confused about stock rotation, there is much about it on the internet but everthing contradicts each other, so im wanting to know what has worked for you???
also im collecting cow manue from my mums farm and im wanting to know the best way of killing the seeds in them?
Im in albury NSW.

Use the manure as a poo tea. Put a quantity in a large drum and fill with water. Allow to sit for a week or two then use on your plants, diluted at a rate on 1:10. It doesn't smell very pleasant but it works.

Jen09 - I recently found a great (old) video put out by ABC in 1996 by Peter Cundall called Patch from Scratch and it so informative on how to establish a Vegie garden and crop rotation. I have followed his methods (except that I only had room for 3 beds)in establishing my new garden.
