Any Canberra Vegie growers? Posted 428 days ago I want to establish a great vegie garden where I can self supply ourselves throughout each season. Nothing beats fresh vegies. I have only succeeded in growing parsley, zucchini and tomatoes so far. The winter selection was alittle more difficult.....I have planted the following only because they were available at Bunnings so just assume they must be in season. I am currently growing which I planted end of April: |

RE: Any Canberra Vegie growers? Posted 427 days ago The garlic, leeks and onions can be moved with no problems, or just leave them to fend for themselves. Spinach slows down in Winter, but it will come good. Basically, cold-weather veggies don't need heaps of sunlight. Hope this helps. |

RE: Any Canberra Vegie growers? Posted 383 days ago I live in canberra also, and have pretty much planted the same as you, with the same result. I guess we just wait for the weather to warm up a bit. |
