Deficiency in Correa?

Posted 607 days ago

I've been handed a Correa leaf that has red to purple veining.
To me it looks like a deficiency or toxicity of some sort.

I have no further knowledge of this plant other than it is living on the south coast of NSW.

Can anyone help me on this?

RE: Deficiency in Correa?

The only reference I can find to this problem is from ANBG site about the correas that they have growing in the gardens.

"All specimens within the Gardens are doing well, even those exposed to the hardest frosts, the only apparent damage being a reddening of some leaves."

Perhaps the one you have is also being affected by frosts.

I am in SEQ and some of our plants are affected by cold and have purple/red colour change in their leaves.
