Frangipani leaves turning yellow... help!! Posted 722 days ago I bought a lovely white frangipani last week and it is about 1.5 metres tall. It is still in the pot which has holes at the bottom for drainage. I had it in the corner of the patio in part shade and it was doing fine until I noticed a few of the flowers dropping and one of the buds had brown edges on the petals. I gave it some water last night and today some of the bottom leaves had turned yellow. I moved it about half a metre into full sun and by the end of the day more leaves had gone yellow... What is wrong???? Help!!! Dianna, Fremantle WA |

RE: Frangipani leaves turning yellow... help!! Posted 721 days ago Take it back to where you bought it. They should exchange it or at least steer you in the right direction on how to look after it. |

RE: Frangipani leaves turning yellow... help!! Posted 630 days ago If its any consolation, this is the time of year that Frangipanis start to lose their leaves. They are usually quite dormant over the winter months, but should start shooting again during the warmer months. |

RE: Frangipani leaves turning yellow... help!! Posted 606 days ago I have had two white Frangipani's in my garden for several years. They are deciduous - their leaves fall off in winter. Don't worry they will look like ugly branches with no leaves for a while and when spring comes they will get these purplish spikes on the ends of the branches. Which will eventually become next summers growth. Slowly over time (if you are patient) they will grow again. |
