Jacaranda

Posted 751 days ago

I have an approx 8 year old Jacaranda which produces healthy leaves each year but no flowers. It is in a sunny position. There are no other Jacarandas in my street.
I have noticed that where Jacarandas do flower, there are many Jacarandas in that area. Do I need to plant another Jacaranda to get flowers?
Thank you for your assistance

No...you don't need a second tree to produce flowers on Jacaranda.

If your sure that your climate can support a Jacaranda then all I can see is that you need to give it a couple more years to reach flowering stage.

Mine took about 12 years. (grown from seedlings) Each year now the amount of flowers improves.
